How to Delete Your Lashara Account
At Lashara, you maintain complete ownership of your personal data and AI companion chats. Follow the step-by-step guide below to delete your account directly in the mobile app, or submit an email deletion request.

When you initiate account deletion, your account is immediately deactivated and inaccessible. We hold your data in a secure 30-day grace period before irreversible database purging. If you change your mind, simply log in within 30 days to restore your account.
In-App Deletion Steps (Recommended)
You can delete your account directly from your Android phone in just 4 simple steps:
Open App & Go to Profile
Launch the Lashara app on your Android device. Tap the 'Profile' tab located on the bottom navigation bar.
Scroll Down to the Bottom
On the Profile screen, scroll past your avatar, email, and preferences down to the 'Account & Danger Zone' section at the very bottom.
Tap 'Delete Account'
Look for the red 'Delete Account' button located at the bottom of the screen. Tap it to initiate the deletion workflow.
Confirm & Schedule Deletion
A confirmation dialog will appear explaining the 30-day grace period. Confirm your choice to immediately log out and deactivate your account.

Understanding the 30-Day Grace Period
Safe account recovery window
If deletion was accidental or you wish to return, simply log in to the mobile app with your original email and password before the 30-day period ends. Your account will be restored immediately.
Once 30 days have elapsed without a login, our automated user cleanup service permanently deletes your profile, chat messages, and memory embeddings from our PostgreSQL servers.
What Data is Deleted vs. Retained
We comply strictly with the Google Play Data Safety Policy and GDPR/CCPA privacy standards.
- •Account profile (email address, username, avatar photo, password hash)
- •All AI conversation histories and token dialogue logs
- •Character context memories and emotional state records
- •Device push notification tokens (Firebase FCM)
- •User character favorites and daily bonus streaks
- •Anonymized financial transaction records (Google Play order IDs, purchase timestamps) solely as required by statutory accounting, tax, and anti-fraud regulations.
Deleting your Lashara account does not automatically cancel active recurring subscriptions managed through Google Play. To avoid unwanted recurring charges, please cancel your VIP subscription via the Google Play Store app:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions ➔ Subscriptions.
- Select Lashara and tap Cancel subscription.

If you no longer have the app installed or have lost access to your device, you can submit a manual deletion request to our privacy team.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I recover my chat messages after 30 days?
No. After the 30-day grace period, all conversation logs, memory states, and user data are permanently wiped from all servers and backups. They cannot be recovered.
Are my chats used to train public AI models?
No. Lashara has a strict zero-training privacy policy. Your private chats are processed purely in real-time and are never sold or used to train foundational AI models.
What happens if I used Google One-Tap Sign-In?
Deleting your Lashara account deletes your Lashara profile and chat records. It does not affect your Google account. You can also revoke Lashara's app permissions at any time via your Google Account Security Settings.
